Faculty Position in Electronic/Electrical Engineering

The School of Electronics Engineering (SEE) at Kyungpook National University (KNU) is inviting applications for an international tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above, in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. With over 4,000 students, SEE is South Korea’s largest institution dedicated to academic excellence in information technologies https://see.knu.ac.kr/eng/

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and strong research background in any branch of Electronic/Electrical Engineering, including semiconductors, communication networks, control & automation, computers, signal processing, and must not hold Korean nationality. Candidates should also have at least two publications in SCI(E) or SCOPUS journals within the last 4 years as either the 1^st or corresponding author. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in innovative research and teach general and specialized courses. Proficiency in spoken and written English and international collaborative experience are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to start their academic and educational activities at SEE no later than September 1, 2017.

The salary is competitive and will be determined according to the appointee’s qualifications and experience. Benefits will include on-campus housing, medical insurance, and a reasonable research fund for the first year.
