Faculty Position in Electronic/Electrical Engineering

The School of Electronics Engineering (SEE) at Kyungpook National University (KNU) is inviting applications for an international tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. With about 3,000 students, the SEE, dedicated to academic excellence in information technologies, is the largest of its kind in South Korea: https://see.knu.ac.kr/eng/. 

The candidates must have a Ph.D. degree from non-Korean universities in any branch of Electronic/Electrical Engineering including (but not limited to) semiconductors, circuits & systems, communications, control & automation, computers, and signal processing. The candidates must hold a non-Korean nationality. The candidates should have a strong research track record and are required to have at least two publications in SCI(E) or SCOPUS journals within the last 4 years as either the 1st or corresponding author. Proficiency in spoken and written English is also required. The successful candidate is expected to start his/her academic and educational activities at the SEE from September 1, 2020. 

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience, provided in the application. Benefits will include on-campus housing (subject to availability), medical insurance, and a reasonable research fund for the first year.
