   LTE/LTE-A systems are the most immerging mobile commercial communication systems which are growing up fastest ever in the world. This seminar talks about LTE-A down link receiver designs currently discussed in 3GPP standard activities. LTE/LTE-A receivers adopt various communication technologies that have been invented in academies and industrials. Especially, as a number of devices for multi-media services increases in dense networks, interference circumstances have made a lot of challenges of receiver design to sustain effective throughput performance.  Interference suppression (IS) schemes of receivers have been studied though many technical papers such as interference rejection and interference cancellation strategies, in this seminar, we mainly talk about LTE-A receivers actually used for interference suppression in LTE celluar communications.
